Bad Baby Jean is a cardboard western noir about an outlaw yearning to return to a love she left behind.
Prison breaks, fisticuffs, a highway robbery, lonely deserts and wide-open roads... ‘Bad Baby Jean’ takes all your favourite western cinematic moments and slices-and-dices them into a fast-paced theatrical adventure.
Performed live to audiences in person and online simultaneously, The Last Great Hunt combines elements of animation, puppetry, live performance and technical wizardry in this high-octane story that pushes the boundaries of theatre.

Bad Baby Jean was originally commissioned by Google’s Creative Lab in 2020 and had a showing on YouTube in the first year of the COVID pandemic.
It was then presented as work-in-progress at PICA (Boorloo/Perth) in 2021, as a hopeful gesture towards new performance possibilities enabled by digital technology.
